Taken near Bixby Bridge north of Big Sur, CA, this is a 12 shot vertical panorama taken around 4 am this past Monday, when the Milky Way was pretty high in the sky. The glow near the horizon is a lighthouse just around the bend.

All shots are 20 seconds, except the bottom one, which is 3 minutes

Today I have had to confront some big questions and tentatively move towards some major decisions. I’m not a superstitious person, but when Franchi got this message on her teabag label, it felt like a confirmation of our trajectory. As Franchi said: ‘when you want the universe to speak to you, and are willing to listen, lots of great messages make it through’. She calls that ‘ghetto yogi’. :-)

The Boulevard Ensemble Studio Theatre (@boulevardstudio), who you all know I have an affection for, is opening a new play - “LIVING OUT” - this weekend. It is woman-written and -directed, -and features 6 women out of a cast of 8 actors. It is about motherhood, life/career balance, immigration, mothers/fathers/nannies and is already getting positive reviews (it just opened Wednesday night). I’ve heard that there are still seats for Saturday and Sunday performances - go reserve your seats now and enjoy this little theatre that means a lot to me. http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/363201
